I am proud to be the third generation in my family to help the space program. My grandfather, Laurence Jourdan built the first launch pads. My father, Gerald Newstrom designed systems for the Apollo and Shuttle programs. and I, Louis Newstrom kept the computers running during the Shuttle program.
